Karen Skerratt opened a pop-up gin bar in Exeter after a successful foray into the street food market sector. Through talking with customers and some market research, she identified a great need in the market for a local gin and thus established, Exeter Gin Ltd.

From this inception is the original Exeter Gin, Granny Garbutt’s, Grandad’s Allotment and this Viking Strength Ivaar The Boneless Gin

Inspired by Roman occupation of Exeter, Karen decided to create Ivaar The Boneless Gin based on the fierce & legendary warrior, Ivaar Ragnarsson, aloos known as Ivaar The Boneless. For anyone who knows their history or has seen Vikings, Ivaar was not a pleasant individual. Easily the most vicious of all of Ragnar Lothbrok’s sons: He was a ruthless, sadistic and fearsome leader that began his final invasion on the Southwest in 870 before his demise in 872.

Ivaar The Boneless Gin uses Exeter Gin’s original recipe, smooth, baked Valencia oranges and cinnamon are combined with intense juniper and tarragon to make this bold, navy strength gin.
