Hepple Spirits is an artisanal distillery nestled in the rolling hills of Northumberland. Founded by Valentine and Walter Riddell, Hepple uses locally-grown wheat and pristine spring water from their estate to craft their vodka. The wheat is milled on-site before undergoing column distillation in their sleek stills. This meticulous approach produces an exceptionally clean, smooth vodka.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, aromas of pine forest and citrus groves emerge from the glass. Zesty pink grapefruit, pineapple and honeydew melon mingle with refreshing Douglas fir top notes.
The palate delivers a smooth, creamy mouthfeel thanks to the traditional pot still distillation of British wheat. The mid-palate reveals layers of flavour – pink grapefruit, ripe pineapple, honeyed cantaloupe and herbaceous pine.
The finish is fresh and lively with lingering notes of citrus, stone fruit and evergreen.
