Aged Caribbean Rum Infused with Exotic Spices

To make Bounty Spiced Rum, a blend of 2 year old double distilled Caribbean rums is infused with island botanicals. This includes cinnamon, vanilla, and the locally harvested “Bois Bande” – a bark rumoured to have aphrodisiac qualities. Together they create a lush, exotic sipping rum.

Tasting Note

Enjoy sweet, tempting aromas of vanilla icing, cinnamon sugar, toasted coconut and ripe bananas. There are traces of allspice, clove, and freshly grated nutmeg.

The first sip of Bounty Spiced Rum is smooth and sweet with flavours of creamed honey, vanilla custard and baked apples drizzled with caramel. As it opens up, the spices emerge – cinnamon and ginger followed by hints of anise and black pepper. The rum grows more complex with layers of molasses, Demerara sugar, and toasted oak. The vanilla sweetness gives way to more peppery rye notes. Throughout there’s an exotic fruitiness reminiscent of mangoes and passionfruit.

The long finish turns dry yet retains the rum’s spicy-sweet essence. Lingering flavours of cinnamon candy and vanilla pipe tobacco leave the palate warm and satisfied.
