Situated in a Grade II listed building, down the cobbled streets of old Plymouth is The Barbican Botanics Gin Room. Initially setup by gin loving Doreen in 2018, she has successfully ridden the gin wave with Plymouth’s first artisan gin bar. Her initial foray into the gin world was a few years prior when she began a national gin subscription company called The Little Gin box. Not long after opening the gin room she decided to up the ante and begin development on Barbican Botanics Gin.
Doreen has gone from strength to strength with her subscription service being picked up by Virgin Experiences and the Radio Times as well as her gin room becoming one of the most popular bars in Plymouth with over 100 gins to choose from.
