Production Process:

Glenmorangie 12 Year Old – The Lasanta is carefully crafted using classic techniques and select ingredients. The journey begins with the finest Scottish barley, which is malted and mashed to release its natural sugars. Fermentation follows, transforming the malted barley into a flavourful wash. This wash is then distilled twice in Glenmorangie’s towering copper stills to create a pure, smooth spirit.

The spirit is aged for 12 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for an additional period of maturation. This double-barrel aging process enhances the whisky’s depth, complexity, and imparts the distinctive sherry influence that sets The Lasanta apart.
